Quantum mechanics continues to amaze.

I think my favorite line is, “Harmonic oscillators might allow us to get a quantum computer built more quickly.”

Whoever doubted that harmonic oscillators would be so useful. What is that one quote by that famous physicist? Physics is just learning to solve the harmonic oscillator problem at increasing levels of abstraction. Or something.
